Shine Your Light! is an interactive journal that helps children discover the power of loving themselves first. Through timeless Zen wisdom, accessible mindfulness practices, and reflective activities children learn what it means to love themselves first and how to put it into practice in their daily lives.
A note from Melissa: This journal is tried and true! I have been working with elementary aged children for 15 years and these are all practices we have done together with wonderful results. I am overjoyed to be able to share these practices with you and your children. May they bring you and your children as much joy as they have brought me and mine! A special thank you to my teacher Michiko Rolek, without whom this journal would not be possible. Michiko has generously shared her heart and wisdom with me for over a decade. I am honored to carry her teaching forward. I know they will change your life for the better as they have changed mine.
